La comunicación NO VERBAL en la empresa
La buena comunicación es una pieza fundamental para tener éxito en cualquier área de la empresa (y en la vida en general!). Sin importar el rubro de la empresa, si uno es profesional universitario, terciario o doctorado… todos deberían contar con herramientas de comunicación para socializar con sus compañeros, colaboradores y jefes dentro del ámbito laboral.
Más allá de manejar el discurso adecuadamente, los componentes no verbales son fundamentales para que el mensaje a transmitir sea eficaz. El lenguaje corporal correcto es necesario no solo para conversaciones sino para presentaciones, entrevistas, exposiciones y auditorios. Nos referimos a un lenguaje corporal correcto cuando es congruente con el mensaje verbal que estamos transmitiendo. Su buen uso permite rearfirmar el mensaje, ser claros y creíbles. Por ende, si bien es cierto que las palabras son la esencia, el verdadero significado de ellas se transmite con el lenguaje corporal y el tono de voz utilizados.
Este tipo de comunicación kinésica se envía por medio de los gestos, los movimientos de las manos y el rostro, convirtiéndolos en máscaras que generan o no empatía con los demás.
Los gestos, la postura del cuerpo y la voz son fundamentales para generar diferentes tipos de interpretaciones en el entorno laboral, porque hacen a quien está hablando creíble y seguro, ó lejano y autoritario.
Algunas Recomendaciones
– Mirada: mantener contacto visual y expresar con los ojos, esto demostrará seguridad en los planteamientos que está emitiendo.
– Postura: tener una posición erguida durante toda la intervención y con los pies abiertos. Cuidado con las posturas cerradas o brazos cruzados.
– Espacio: buscar un lugar idóneo para establecer contacto con todas las personas.
– Sonrisa: practicar una expresión pertinente y espontánea acorde con la situación.
– Silencio: generar momentos de pausa no muy largos para crear dinámica con la audiencia.
– Gestos: establecer coherencia entre el rostro y el diálogo. Si va a realizar movimientos enfáticos, hágalos con la mano abierta y sin señalar.
– Voz: utilizar cambios de entonación, hablar a un buen ritmo y evitar muletillas.
